Thai police say Chinese actor was trafficked to Myanmar to work in a scam operation

Thatchai told Thai PBS TV that an initial examination of Wang’s phone chat reports confirmed his history.

He claimed Wang told police that there were about 50 different Chinese people present at the same place. Like him, all had their heads shaved, he told officers. He claimed he was also afraid to try to run away or avoid.

The Global Times reported that a Chinese internet users who claimed to be Wang’s girl had written about it on Chinese social advertising. Wang has been a part of well-known Foreign TV plays.

Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra stated on Tuesday that the government was doing everything in its power to help any negative effects the event might have on the country’s status as a healthy tourist destination.
