NAKHON RATCHASIMA- A driver who delivered medical care was saved on Tuesday night in the Phimai district with simply minor injuries when the pickup truck’s cargo box detach and plunged into a canal by the side of the road.
The accident took place on the tambon Tha Luang street near the 7 to 8 kilometer manufacturers on Liab Khlong Chonprathan.
Pol Lt Nethirot Piyapiromchai, assistant research main at Phimai, said , it , was reported about 8.30pm. Rescue personnel and police were immediately dispatched to the field.
In the river next to the road, they discovered a field pickup truck with Bangkok license plates. The field cargo vessel was detached and was lying , on the road. Numerous cardboard boxes with kidney dialysis alternative were dispersed across the street.  ,
Driver Uthai Jongniewklang, 56, sustained head and arm injury. He was initially treated before being transferred to Phimai Hospital.
Phalan Truadnok, 56, a local resident, told authorities he heard a noisy knock and saw lights on the road. He went to the river to observe what had happened and saw the delivery truck, which happily just had a small amount of liquid.
He instantly rose down into the canal to assist the locked driver after witnessing smoke coming from the engine, worried that it might catch fire. Before rescue personnel arrived, he and other people helped the pilot exit the vehicle.
The wounded driver claimed to work for a shipping firm. He was giving kidney dialysis solutions to institutions in Nakhon Ratchasima.
He lost control of the vehicle when the goods field abruptly escaped from the truck bed. According to Mr. Uthai, the car veered off the road and plunged into the river.
The officers research into the accident’s reason was ongoing.
