More than ten years after Malaysia’s Flight MH370 disappeared in one of the world’s biggest aviation mysteries, Malaysia’s transport minister announced on Friday ( Dec 20 ) that the country had agreed in principle to resume the search.
According to Anthony Loke, the proposed research area is based on professional research and data, adding that the government is committed to providing households with closure.  ,
The transport department is reportedly negotiating last terms with US-based company Ocean Infinity and is anticipated to have its last agreements by the start of the year.  ,
Aircraft MH370, a Boeing 777 carrying 227 people and 12 staff, vanished en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on Mar 8, 2014.
The research was suspended on Jan 17, 2017.  ,
