Former Mediacorp star Phyllis Quek shares that she quit showbiz in 2012 to focus on her health and she has no regrets

Quek, who left Mediacorp in 2001 to focus on her job in Taiwan and China, filmed her final episode, The Ultimate Winner, in 2011. Her first episode post-hiatus was the Mediacorp set Legal Eagles, in 2017. &nbsp,

” That said, I didn’t choose to take that journey, so there’s no point thinking about it! She moaned,” I decided to take care of my wellbeing and also get to meet my husband.”

Quek, who married American business David Cox, 63, in 2012, said she’s leading a “very secure and happy life today”, and is very appreciative. &nbsp,

The artist, who’s known for playing Bai Mudan in the 1998 Mediacorp time crisis, Legend Of The Eight Gods, and Yin Susu in 2003’s The God Sword And Dragon Sabre, also gets recognised by enthusiasts.

” When, I stepped out of the resort in Europe and bumped into some Taiwanese visitors. They asked to take photographs with me when they first saw me, and she recalled.
