YOON “VERY SORRY”
Yoon’s first public appearance since reversing the military rules attempt was Saturday’s televised address.
He said,” I leave it to my party to take actions to stabilize the political climate in the future, including the time when I serve,” promising that there won’t be another attempt to impose martial law.
Han claimed after the speech that it was necessary for the president to resign from his place in the government.
Han stated on Friday that Yoon was a threat to the nation and needed to be ousted, putting strain on Yoon to step down.
In the end, however, nearly all PPP people boycotted the vote. One participant claimed to have voted against impeachment despite the fact that he had never thought Yoon would make a good company representative.
