One person was killed and four people were hurt when a 39-year-old Foreign man crashed his Toyota Alphard into several vehicles on Thursday night, injuring four people.

The incident occurred at 9.06pm on Thepprasit Road in Bang Lamung city of Chon Buri, Pol Capt Sanan Kotanan, assistant inspector of Pattaya authorities station, said.

Officers detained the Taiwanese driver, identified as Zhang Yigong, for alcohol and drug testing.

Authorities said the accident involved five vehicles, two pickup trucks and five scooters, with four individuals injured and rushed to local hospitals.

A 30-year-old Thai vehicle, identified as Sahaprom Wongmak, was found dead at the scene. Security footage from his dark sedan, according to police, showed it being struck by the light Alphard, causing it to roll over.

The collision likewise caused damage to some homes and businesses along the way. &nbsp,

The speeding vehicle first collided with two delivery trucks and attempted to escape, according to Kitti Thongsopa, 42, a see who was at a local gas station. It then struck another vehicles along the street.

Somsak Thamrang, a 25-year-old Lineman horse whose bike was damaged, said he saw the van hitting other cars while he was driving. He attempted to leave the path, but he fell.

The cause of the accident was being looked into by authorities.
