The Meteorological Department released a report on Friday that showed that Thailand’s conditions are expected to decrease significantly in the approaching days as the country recovers from cold.

According to the weather bureau, high air pressure from China is extending south to higher Thailand, primarily affecting the north and northeast regions. From Saturday through Wednesday, it added, this wind style is anticipated to reduce temperatures by up to three degrees Fahrenheit.

In the two regions, boat operators are advised to remain wary of icy roads in the mornings during this time, and to avoid torrential storms along the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand coasts.

This yr, winter in Thailand actually started on Oct 26 and may stop around February.
