South Korea battles second day of heavy snow; at least four dead

Despite persistent snowfall for a second day on Thursday ( Nov 28 ), at least four people were reported dead and dozens of flights were canceled in South Korea.

The autumn rain was the third-heaviest in Seoul, the capital, since records began in 1907, the Yonhap media organization said, citing data from the city.

More than 140 flights were canceled as a result of more than 40 cm of snowfall accumulation in some areas of Seoul by 8am on Thursday despite climate leaders ‘ heavy snow instructions in the city’s metropolitan region being lifted by 10am.
