On Tuesday night, a Thai person was detained after assisting five Chinese citizens traveling from Myanmar without legally into Thailand. &nbsp,

Around 6 o’clock in the Pop Phra area, the Naresuan Task Force saw six people crossing a creek and heading into the kingdom while on patrol near the border in the wooded area of the Naresuan district.

The border crossers were afterwards identified as Foreign citizens: Ms Dan Dan, 18, Ms Lhan Lhan, 19, Mr A-Hang, 31, Mr A-Dan and Wang Jun Ming, 21.

The Thai gentleman, identified as Mr Thananchai Saema, 28, admitted to helping them enter the country.

Mr. Thananchai claimed during questioning that he was moving the Chinese citizens from Ban Thong Chai in the Mae Sot area to another location. After locating the soldiers and escaping into the jungle, they discovered four motorcycles they had abandoned.

Mr Thananchai apparently earned 1, 000 baht per man he helped.

At the Pop Phra police depot, everyone was incarcerated. &nbsp,
