Manhunt underway as 3 people shot dead in northeastern Thailand

NONG BUA LAMPHU: A male, 57, shot dead three individuals in Sri Bun Ruang region of this northern territory on Wednesday night.

Around 6:30 am, the killing spree took place in the tambon No Muang town of Ban Takhian Thong.

Video footage showed the shooter, dressed in black, walking towards another gentleman who was sweeping the wayside.

The shooter crossed the road while waiting for a vehicle to move him before pulling a handgun out of his coat pocket.

The shooter approached the target and fired a point-blank at him from nearby range.

The shooter then returned to the target after he fell to the ground and fired more photos.

Then he turned and ran toward a person who was seated by a chair by the side of the road. Having heard the gunshots, she ran for her career and managed to escape.

The shooter then shot two more people, a person and a lady, in conditions that were not immediately apparent. According to local press, the believe was identified as a Mr Samart. On a violet bike, he fled the scene and headed for the towns of Na Klang and Muang. &nbsp,

At 10.29am, the Royal Thai Police Office stated on its Instagram page that they were attempting to stop the “deranged guy” and would like to know where he was.
