Four dead, girl seriously injured in Samut Prakan shooting spree

When a person opened fire on a nearby family before taking his own life, causing four fatalities and seriously injuring a woman in Samut Pakistan.

Around 9 o’clock on Monday, an incident occurred at a property in a society in the tambon Thai restrictions of Muang district, behind the Samutprakan Crocodile Farm and Zoo.

At the unlicensed home, a 69-year-old person, Thongsee Niyompok, was killed with bullet scars in her back, neck, head and chest. Her 43-year-old child, Rattanapak Niyompok, was found deceased with bullet scars in her breast and belly.

A 45-year-old person, Wassana Jaithiang – an ex-husband of Rattanapak – was shot in his neck, back, area, arm and leg and died suddenly. Their seven-year-old child sustained shot wounds in her hands, chest and back and was under care at a hospital.

Gunman Pisit Lamplee, 63, was shot in his church and died at clinics. His brother claimed that he shot himself after killing the different people.

Authorities found a 9mm handgun, two publications and 18 spent shell at the field.

Pisit was riding his motorcycle when he arrived in the area, and some shots were audible. Pisit was seen shortly after shooting himself and collapsing.

The wounded woman said Pisit and her mother had quarrelled. She heard shots as she entered her home. Pisit shot the woman before committing suicide after she and her mother were rushed outside to investigate.

Thanin Lamplee, the gunman’s 43-year-old brother, said that both people had been near neighbours and his parents had just had a disagreement with Rattanapak. He did not know the nature of their debate.

Neighbour Thanchanok Tanodthong, 51, said Rattanapak’s community rented the shooter’s house, and that the assailant and Rattanapak had generally shared coffee.

Rattanapak allegedly borrowed 80, 000 ringgit from the shooter late, according to Pol Col Chutradul Yosmadee, deputy chief of Samut Prakan officers, and the two had argued because she later lent the cash to others.

According to him, police speculated on the crime as being related to either love or finance.
