In Udon Thani, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra thanked Sarawut Pethpanomporn for winning the municipal operational organization president election on Sunday nights. He hoped the speed would last until a novel general election.
In a film visit to Mr. Sarawut, who was watching the ballot-counting with Pheu Thai followers, Thaksin addressed him with his gratitude information.
After the former prime minister campaigned for him, he thanked Pheu Thai loyalists for helping him avoid the humiliation he might have experienced.
Mr Sarawut won the contest for the best local government work in Udon Thani with 327, 487 vote, beating Kanisorn Khurirang from the Women’s Party, who received 268, 675 seats, according to unofficial results.
After losing to Nattapong Pipatchaisiri, who ran under the Move Forward Party banner next year, in the general election, Mr. Sarawut received special retribution for his actions.
In the northern area, Udon Thani is regarded as the epicenter of the red-shirts. Prior to the most recent general election, Phu Thai had a monopoly of the state, winning only seven out of ten seats. Thai Sang Thai won two seats while Moving Forward occupied one.
In his film call, Thaksin declared,” I’m again to find Udon Thani votes again,” and exhorted his supporters to carry on the political momentum leading up to the upcoming general election.
