In a police investigation to determine whether 41 corpses used in meditation at a Buddhist abbey in Phichit state were officially obtained.

According to Pol Maj Gen Tadej Klomkliang, commander of Phichit municipal police, authorities are looking into the records of the cadavers at the Pa Nakhon Chaibovorn convent in Pho Thale district and are looking at the records to see if any crime occurred.

Despite the monastery’s say that the body had been donated by honest people, he stressed the need to establish whether the deceased had died naturally.

The monastery’s claims about cognitive training and ceremonial practices, which may fight with Buddhist rules, have also been asked by the National Office of Buddhism.

Kom Pattarakulprasert, chairman of the Phichit Office of Buddhism, visited the abbey, run by Phra Ajarn Saifon Phandito, to observe the meditation techniques. He claimed that the practice of contemplation on dying body was novel and unexpected.

According to Mr. Kom,” I inquired about carcasses and was told that there were none.”

” But when journalists discovered the 41 body, I was taken aback by the conflicting reports. I’ll talk with the native clergy leader about whether this behavior is appropriate.
