A suspect who was detained at Don Mueang Airport is even accused of overstaying his card.
Following a weapon threat that was made against an AirAsia flight from Bangkok to Hat Yai, authorities arrested a man with a Malaysian card.
The danger was reported at 2.47pm on Thursday. A Thai-language native who claimed to have an accent on a journey from Thailand to Songkhla to Hat Yai in Songkhla contacted the airport’s open relations department.
According to personnel, the danger referred to journey FD 3114, which was driving for take-off at the time. All 162 travellers and six staff members had to evacuate after security personnel halted the journey for inspection, which was later reversed for a more thorough verify.
At 7:30 p.m. that morning, safety gave the airplane the crisis status it had been assigned.
Authorities detained a man identified as Ho Wai Chong on Friday night in the Don Mueang customer switch, according to a report released on Saturday from the Immigration Bureau. He allegedly called the connector while he was there.
According to his card, he is a Malaysian national, and assessments of immigration statistics showed that he had overstayed his card.
The believe admitted to the crime, saying he felt compelled to make the visit owing to family-related tension. He is currently being tried for additional legal action after first facing charges of overstaying his immigration by 28 days.
The perpetrator has no history of crime and apparently used an Apec Card in Thailand on numerous occasions. He faces up to 15 years in prison and will be placed on a blacklist after serving his sentence due to the serious aircraft rules violation.
