For millions of Indians, getting access to clean water is still a distant dream. Individuals living in rural areas travel miles on foot, across harsh terrain, to collect water through sources that are not at all times clean.
In 2019, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the particular Jal Jeevan (water is life) Objective, which aims to create tap water to every Indian home by 2024. Millions of households have got benefitted from the program.
With just two years to go before the deadline day, millions are still waiting around to get clean tap water.
