Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra is convinced that the coalition government led by Pheu Thai did win a whole term in power.

He made the remarks on Thursday while assisting a Pheu Thai campaign rally in Udon Thani to support the upcoming Provincial Administrative Organization ( PAO ) chair election.

He was responding to rumors that the alliance may not be able to thrive after the election. Due to the fact that Pheu Thai is currently the subject of four appeals accusing it of being led by Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s parents, Thaksin, and of being dominated by it.

Following a dispute between the State Railway of Thailand ( SRT ) and the Department of Lands ( DoL ), there has also been concern about a potential rift between coalition parties in Buri Ram’s Khao Kradong region.

The government does, in my opinion, be finished. There should be no trouble. Common ground exists between coalition parties ‘ ideas. When Ms. Paetongtarn invites them for a conversation, they may leave the room, Thaksin said.

By the end of this year, he added,” I’m also assured that the government’s financial trigger procedures and other efforts will produce visible results.”

Phumtham Wechayachai, the minister of defense, earlier brushed away rumor that Pheu Thai and partnership partner Bhumjaithai were engaged in a new issue.

The SRT is led by Pheu Thai’s Suriya Jungrungreangkit, while the DoL is led by Bhumjaithai head Anutin Charnvirakul and minister of internal Anutin Charnvirakul.

Land plots in the Khao Kradong area of the Muang area, which cover 5, 083 ra, are at the heart of the debate. The SRT is attempting to regain its territory, accusing the DoL of being dishonest because it has issued area papers to undocumented residents.

The DoL and the road organization are required to collaborate on the examination of Khao Kradong’s borders, which the Central Administrative Court has also ruled in favor of the SRT.

Despite the 2021 Supreme Court’s decision to grant the property to the SRT, it was revealed last week that the property committee had voted to reject the property papers.

Asked if petitions filed against Pheu Thai could lead to the downfall of the coalition government, Thaksin said:” They]critics ] keep nitpicking every day. There is no need to give them little interest”.

The petitions were lodged by Thai Pakdee Party Chairman Warong Dechgitvigrom, Ruangkrai Leekitwattana, a member of the Palang Pracharath Party ( PPRP ), Noppharut Worachitwutthikun, a former key leader of the political group Phirap Khao 2006, and an anonymous individual.

Their requests pertain to various information, such as the coalition government’s policy speech to congress, which reflects striking resemblance with Thaksin’s suggestions on federal policies made at a nearby conference in August.

The main point of contention, however, is that Pheu Thai and, particularly, the current and former coalition parties that met Thaksin at his Bangkok home on August 14 when Srettha Thavisin was removed as prime minister by the Constitutional Court.

During that gathering, the coalition parties and Thaksin officially discussed potential Srettha alternatives.

Dr Warong said the meeting of the officials at Thaksin’s house to examine Mr Srettha’s son backs the claims.

According to Dr. Warong, having a group come under the influence of an observer is against the Political Parties Act because Thaksin is never a Pheu Thai part.

But, Pheu Thai shrugged off the requests seeking to dissolve the party, describing them as political antics.

Addressing about 5, 000 individuals during a campaign rally in Udon Thani’s Muang city yesterday, Thaksin urged local people to vote for Pheu Thai’s member, Sarawut Phetphanom, to become the PAO head.

Thaksin promised to give up anything short of a landslide victory, as he promised to.

From November 19 to November 20, Thaksin is expected to assist in rallies in Surin province.

On November 23, Surin will host the PAO chair election, and Udon Thani will hold the election on November 24.

Prior to this, Mr. Phumtham asserted that Thaksin was not permitted to support the campaign, claiming that the former prime minister is only supporting Pheu Thai’s candidates.
