Much weekends intended to spur go, spending

Long-weekends are being declared to raise tourism and the economy as a result of the cabinet’s approval of additional public holidays for January 2026 and the following year.

After the meeting on Tuesday, Deputy Minister Phumtham Wechayachai announced that the cabinet had approved the commission’s request for additional federal holidays in June and August of next year and in January 2026.

The more breaks next time are both Sundays, June 2 and Aug 11, with the Queen’s day trip on June 3 and Mother’s Day on Aug 12- creating a four-day trip.

Another added getaway is Jan 2, 2026, stretching the New Year split to five times, from Dec 31 to Jan 4 diverse.

In 2025, there will be 21 people breaks.
