Indonesian President Prabowo to visit China this week

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will travel to China and meet with Xi Jinping this week, both countries announced on Tuesday ( Nov 5 ). This is his first foreign tour as he attempts to gain more clout for Jakarta on the global stage.

The 73-year-old ex-general’s condition visit will take place from Friday to Sunday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a statement.
