In the cold season, nature trails are available for visitors.
Tourists have reserved about 85 % of Chiang Mai’s hotel rooms for the Loy Krathong festival, which is expected to bring in up to$ 2 billion in revenue.
Pallop Saejiew, chairman of Chiang Mai Tourism Council, said Chiang Mai has approximately 60, 000 areas, 50, 000 of which have been booked during Nov 14-17 when visitors can meet the Loy Krathong Festival, known as Yi Peng among visitors.
Loy Krathong Day is observed on the entire moon of the 12th lunar month, which will take place on November 15 this time. On November 15 and 16 in Chiang Mai, persons float lamps and launch them into the sky during the Yi Peng event.
He predicted that the event will bring more than 40, 000 foreigners and about 25 000 Thai visitors to Chiang Mai each day. According to him,” We anticipate that the Yi Peng festival will bring in up to$ 2 billion in income for the city.”
Meanwhile, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation ( DNP ) says various national park nature trails are open for tourists seeking adventure throughout the cold season.
DNP director-general Atthaphon Charoenchansa said the gardens have more than 300 nature roads, with a range of more than 900 miles. The shorter people range from 100 yards and the longest, 64 kilometres.
The Ton Phra Chao Ha Phraong road in Tham Sa Koen National Park in Nan, the long-distance walking path at Khao Luang in Namtok Huai Yang National Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, and the new nature trail at San Phaya Nak in Phu Laen Kha National Park in Phu Laen Kha National Park in Chaiyaphum are the highlights of this year, he said.
The common routes in the northern include the Kew Mae Pan character road in Chiang Mai, the Kew Mae Pan nature trail in Nan, and the Phu Chi Fa Peak stance in Chiang Rai’s Phu Chi Fa National Park.
In Khao Yai National Park and the Mokochu Trail in Mae Wong National Park in Kamphaeng Phet and Tak, trekking and hiking paths are the main activity in the central and eastern provinces, as well as in Khlong Wang Chao National Park and Kamphaeng Phet and Tak.
He noted that there are many exciting healthy tracks in the western and southern regions of Surat Thani, as well as the Yang Na Forest Nature Trail in Prachuap Khiri Khan’s Ao Siam National Park, Lam Nam Kra Buri National Park, and a healthy path in Khlong Phanom National Park.
Another popular tourist attractions include Doi Mon Chong in Omkoi Wildlife Sanctuary, Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary, Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary’s nature road, which provides visitors with information on the highland forest ecology, and Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary, which is renowned for its wildlife and great mountain ecosystem.
The Department of National Parks may give 24-hour security, analytical signs, and rest areas along the pathways for nature studies.
