Thailand: A German visitor was detained in the Kathu region for using illegal substances and overextending his visa.
After officers discovered meth equipment at a resort in the Patong neighborhood, the 29-year-old was detained. The visitor was taken to Patong Hospital for a washroom drug test, and the outcome was good.
He was accused of overstaying his visa and using Category 1 narcotics ( meth ) without authorization.
