Drug arrests made at Vietnamese-only karaoke bar

After three Asian employees were arrested, police are looking for the Thai user of Nonthaburi Nightspot.

Three Asian nationals have been detained on drug costs at a Nonthaburi karaoke bar, which apparently served only Asian customers, according to police on Saturday.

At 1 a.m. on Saturday, authorities raided the Bua Thong Market 3 nightclub in Bang Bua Thong. According to Bang Bua Thong officers train captain Pol Col Phreut Chamroonsart, they were responding to a problem that immigrants were operating a table where illegal medications were being allegedly used.

At a shop desk, officers discovered a pistol with three guns and numerous vials containing joy and morphine during the hunt.

Three Asian nationals — one girl and two males— were arrested. They were identified as Ms Ho Thi Bien, 28, Hoang Duc Anh, 35, and Nguyen Huu Long, 31. An speaker was requested to assist with the police’s questioning.

During doubting, the defendants claimed the table was owned by a Thai nationwide. They were the only caregivers, and they were merely paid one million baht per quarter.

No clients were present at the table at the time of the attack, according to Pol Col Phreut. The nightspot had opened only 10 days earlier, he added.

Prosecutors had been keeping a close eye on the table, he claimed, having learned that it only served Asian customers.

Initial offenses against the three defendants included drug possession with the intention to market, illegal firearm possession, illegal entry, and working without permits. To pursue legal action, all were kept in police custody.

The authorities promised to shut down the bar and contact its Thai user for questioning.
