Singapore to launch new leadership training programme for Laos government officials next year: PM Wong

Work IN SUSTAINABILITY

Mr Wong, who is in Laos for the ASEAN conferences, said power connectivity and endurance is a key pillar of cooperation between the two nations, calling for “win-win jobs” that benefit both sides.

He cited the Lao PDR-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project as an example of the efforts, noting that” fine development” has been made on the job.

” Step by step, we are putting up an Asian power network,” he said, adding that it will improve our social security and expedite our respective natural transitions.

Mr. Wong added that both parties are working toward a legally bound application partnership that was signed during Mr. Siphandone’s visit to Singapore in July.

When it is completed, it will help Singapore join our culture goals while launching fresh green investments in Laos, according to Mr. Wong.

Both nations are also working together to improve their public health techniques, he added, and both have even begun to collaborate on food safety.

Improving Connection

Mr. Wong even emphasized the interaction between the two nations ‘ citizens.

He claimed that Scoot’s plans to increase its Vientiane-bound planes from three to four per month starting in December may “boost two-way journey and build lasting friendships between our peoples.”

He noted that many Singaporeans visit the country for community and charity work as well as visiting well-known tourist destinations like Luang Prabang.
