Police arrest nine over sex toy sales

Offenders earn 10, 000 to 20, 000 ringgit a quarter, with millions in flow

Seven Thai and two Thai citizens were detained by police on Wednesday on suspicion of selling sex toys and videos involving minors in a more than 90,000-strong online community.

The arrest was the result of a situation in which a criminal tricked minors under the age of 18 into making sexy video clips. These videos were then sold on illegitimate websites and in a Telegram group called PimThaidai, which has more than 90, 000 people. Additionally, researchers discovered that the organization also offered sexy treats and viagra. &nbsp,

Authorities conducted attacks on five areas, including three in Bangkok, one in Nakhon Pathom and another in Chon Buri.

Authorities seized 2, 580 sex toys and 66 electronic devices, including computers and phones, Pol Maj Gen Sarut Kwangsopa, director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Division ( AHTD), said in a briefing on Thursday.

The&nbsp, suspects contain seven Thais: Ms Suchada Saelu, 26, Mr Arnon Saekhong, 25, Mr Mongkonvitun Inthapat, 40, Mr Chaiwat Chalermsin, 31, Mr Sukho Amornwutipong, 30, Mr Ekkarat Saiwan, 29, and Mr Wutthipong Plukjai, 25. The two Chinese citizens are Ms Dokkeo Douangoudom, 32, and Mr Niksanh Douangoudom, 30.

All defendants admitted to running the illegitimate sites and the Telegram party for over two centuries, earning about 10, 000 to 20, 000 bass regular. Their actions generated million in circulation.

Sex toys are outlawed in Thailand. Some sufferers of human trafficking were tricked into using videos to promote these goods.

Police urged parents to carefully monitor their children in order to stop similar situations, and they also urged anyone with info to call the AHTD or other related organizations.
