Three people have been charged with being involved in the fatal shooting of 20 school children and three teachers in the voyage vehicle inferno tragedy, which the police have identified as being related to.
High-ranking police officers met for a two-hour meet yesterday to discuss progress being made with the federal police commander, Pol Gen Kitrat Phanphet, to examine the progress being made with the bus fire investigation.
The meeting took place in Pathum Thani’s Lam Luk Ka region, at Khu Khot Police Station.
Pol Gen Kitrat said costs have been filed against three offenders: the bus drivers, the car owner, and the owner of the journey vehicle business.
More individuals may also be sought for trial, according to the authorities.
He said the analysis, expected to be completed by next week, may determine whether other parties connected to the vehicle, such as the fuel system installation company, transport officials, and engineers, are also liable for legal action.
Authorities are awaiting the criminal record the following week as the research progresses.
Pol Gen Kitrat assured me that the research was being conducted completely and honestly.
The chartered bus caught flames while traveling along Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, close to the Zeer Rangsit shopping center in Lam Luk Ka area, carrying 39 students and six teachers.
At least another quarter of treatment for two of the three individuals who were hurt in the incident may be required at Thammasat University Hospital.
