On Monday night in Bangkok, a driver was killed when his car hit a fall challenge and next plunged 15 meters off an road to the floor below.
Around 7.50pm, officers and emergency personnel were called to the scene after being informed that a vehicle had fallen from the Chalong Rat freeway.
On the edge of Nong Rahang Road in Khlong Sam Wa area, a dark Toyota Fortuner with Bangkok panels was discovered inside down. The vehicle, identified as Thammarat Sriprasernsin, 52, was dying at the wheel. Firefighters pushed open the locked door to find his brain.
A portion of the bandwidth highway crash barrier was also discovered at the scene.
According to police authorities, the vehicle was traveling on a highway. The vehicle appeared to have tried to change lanes and lost control of the vehicle, leading to the collision.
