Investigation ordered into police escorting luxury car convoy

A billion-baht fleet of luxury vehicles traveling along an intercity road has been ordered by the main of the Central Investigation Bureau to launch an investigation into highway police’s blocking of regular traffic.

On Monday, Pol Lt. Gen. Jirabhop Bhuridej declared that he had given the bridge police the order to look into problems from vehicles that officers on motorcycles had blocked the M6 from Ayutthaya to Nakhon Ratchasima on Saturday.

The officers in question may be put in jail if they did something wrong, the director said.

The luxury vehicle fleet was reportedly visiting Nakhon Ratchasima to attend a vegetarian and cultural event it.

According to a cause, bridge police escorted the convoy without getting in touch with their superiors in advance.

At the Thao Suranari Monument’s vegetarian good in Nakhon Ratchasima on Saturday night, 45 luxurious vehicles for about 1.5 billion ringgit were on display. The good opened on Friday and ended on&nbsp, Sunday nights.
