After its slope collapsed later on Sunday nights, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration suspended the restoration of the Gesagomon Bridge in Dusit area for five nights.

The hillside collapsed as a result of the Prem Prachakorn Canal’s fresh embankments being constructed under the gate and the river being dredged, according to Bangkok governor Chadchart Sittipunt at the site on Monday morning.

He advised drivers to steer clear of Amnuay Songkhram Road, which leads to the blog.

Several days after locals spotted significant breaks on the road surface in the area, the collapse apparently occurred on Sunday at around 9 o’clock. No vehicles entered the large tunnel, according to the government.

The embankment was immediately subsided and cracked a water primary, according to a government official. The gate embankment was next flooded by the main’s foundation, causing the collapse.
