Fugitive ex-Muay Thai boxer arrested after break-in, escape from Bangkok

Criminal past Muay Thai&nbsp, boxer Santi Jae-arlee was arrested in Nakhon Ratchasima early Monday morning after a Bangkok home encroachment and killing, and&nbsp, four-days on the run from officers.

Around 1 a.m. on Monday, police in Muang region of the northern province detained the 39-year-old believe at a checkpoint.

He jumped out of a stopped car, called the police, and attempted to flee, but stumbled and was taken into custody.

According to an arrest permit, Mr. Santi was wanted for allegedly stealing.

On&nbsp, Thursday night last month he reportedly broke into a home in Phaya Thai area, shot at officers and fled. His partner showed up with a cannon as well. She reportedly forced a police officer to push her to Ayutthaya before being&nbsp, arrested.

After fleeing the Phaya Thai area on Thursday evening, Mr. Santi was seen in more than one location in Bangkok early on Friday morning, according to Bangkok officers.
