Since the Wang River overflowed, floods have risen to a depth of 50 centimeters and two meters in Ban Nong Sang community in Lampang, prompting participants to quickly reclaim pets trapped in the rising waters.

As floodwaters poured into their community in the Thoen district’s tambon Thoen Buri on Saturday, scholar volunteers from Srisoontornsrilawisut college and monks from Pa Thoen Buri church distributed necessities and assisted residents in moving their belongings.

Forest drainage and the filled river contributed to worsening conditions, with some places more than 2 meters of water buried beneath the surface.

With the release of water from two significant inland rivers, people are concerned about additional problems. Produces from the rivers and ongoing precipitation have caused the river to swell.

After people reached out for assistance, some participants shifted some of their attempts to rescuing pets.

Over 50 secondary school students, according to Srisoontornsrilawisut university administrator Padungkriat Suksamran, band together to support their area. He claimed that faculty and staff were keeping an eye on health problems to safeguard the young individuals.

The overflowing Wang River has flooded three tambons of Thoen, affecting more than 1, 200 homes across 30 settlements.
