4 men charged after allegedly harassing police officers at Little India crime scene

SINGAPORE: &nbsp, Four men were each charged on Wednesday ( Sep 25 ) with causing public nuisance and using abusive language against a police officer.

They reportedly did it at a crime scene in Little India, which police cordoned off as they looked into an alleged crime.

On the social media page ROADS, a picture of them doing that was posted. gs next Sunday, garnering more than 423, 000 opinions in three days.

The four gentlemen are: &nbsp, Md Dino Marciano Abdul Wahab, 44, &nbsp, Alex Kumar&nbsp, Gnansekaran, 37, &nbsp, Mohamed Eusof Mohamed Yahiya, 32, and&nbsp, Mohanan V Balakrishnan, 32.

Court records revealed that the four men allegedly yelled at police officials at around 5.10am next Sunday.

They used phrases such as” You talked like a gangster, you know, we all scared, you know”,” We are paying tax, we are paying our ****ing tax” and” I can show you 100 per cent gangster”.

The incident took place in the back street of Sam Leong Road in Little India, where an alleged&nbsp, death had taken area.

The situation involved&nbsp, Muhammad Sajid Saleem, 22, who on Monday was &nbsp, charged with the murder of a 25-year-old&nbsp, along Verdun Road. In addition to the event, another five people were charged in relation to the incident.

The four men facing murder charges on Wednesday have no connection to the alleged crime. They&nbsp, told the court on Wednesday that they intend to pursue legal&nbsp, picture.

The police counsel even informed the court that inquiries are ongoing and that the four people may face additional charges.

The four people will be up in court on October 8.
