To become a RSN diver, applicants undergo a nine-month qualification program.
They get their hands on basic submarine education, which covers both how to swim and land.  ,
Then they move on to more technical teaching, such as how to listen for sounds while engineers learn about underwater engines.  ,
Candidates wrap up the course with a hands-on port useful test before completing the program.
A recent graduate of the submarine qualification course, Military Expert 1 ( ME1 ) Axell Lim, is now an underwater operator of the Invincible submarine.  ,
The 24-year-old works as a team to maintain the ship and keep it technically set.
” Onboard the submarine, we are like the ears of the boat. We are trained to listen to the various arteries so that we can determine their form and manner in order to navigate the waters properly, according to ME1 Lim.  ,
It’s similar to walking through a space with your hands on and then trying to hear the various voices in the room before moving on to get from point A to point B.
