S Korean man who encased partner in cement arrested

16 times after her disappearance, a gentleman in South Korea admitted to killing his girl and burying her body in concrete.

The person, who is in his 50s, claimed to have struck the person with a blunt object while having an argument at his house in Geoje, in the southern area.

Then he dumped her body into a briefcase on his balcony, where he buried it under a layer of tiles and concrete.

It remained that undetected until next month, when a maintenance worker discovered it while cutting, local media reported.

Through biometric evaluation, the figure, which had been partly preserved by the suitcase, was determined to be that of the missing woman. She had died from blunt force trauma to the brain, according to an examination.

When the body was discovered, the man, identified as Mr. A., was not residing in the room. He was later discovered and detained.

Before an explanation in October 2008, he told police that he had been living with the person in a studio apartment in Geoje for about five times, and that he had previously argued with her.

The backpack carrying her brain was then buried beneath a layer of bricks and concrete on a tiny third-floor balcony, which was only accessible from one of the bedrooms.

Before he was detained on drug charges in 2016, he continued to reside in the house for another eight times.

Since then, the employer of the house had left it clear, using it as storage area.

The girl, who was in her 30s at the time, was not identified by her home until three centuries after her death, according to the government.

They were apparently told by them that she had broken up with Mr A and had left the city when they arrived to look for her in Geoje and had lost touch with their child.

The 16-year secret was only able to be solved when the building’s owner placed some waterproofing orders in the year.

The person is expected to be charged with murder, according to authorities, who are continuing their investigation.
