German naval ships sail into sensitive Taiwan Strait

Der Spiegel, a European magazine, reported the planned voyage for the first time next week, but European defense officials did not confirm the details right away.

The Taiwanese foreign government stated on Tuesday that it “applauds and affirms Germany, along with the US, Canada, and the Netherlands, for taking steps to show the legal standing of the Taiwan Strait while upholding regional peace and maintaining freedom of navigation at the same time.”

A business class in Europe’s largest business, the Federation of German Industries, welcomed the move.

According to professional committee member Wolfgang Niedermark,” European economy is encouraging the federal government to keep the previously deteriorating rules-based global order as much as possible.”

He claimed that” Germany also must take responsibility for this” and that principles are only valid if they are consistently enforced.
