North Korea fires short-range missiles off east coast, South Korea military says

SEOUL: &nbsp, North&nbsp, Korea fired&nbsp, multiple short-range ballistic missiles&nbsp, off its east coast on Thursday ( Sep 12 ), &nbsp, its first launch in more than two months, &nbsp, South Korea’s military said.

Japan’s Coast Guard even said a missile, believed to be a nuclear weapon fired from&nbsp, North&nbsp, Korea, had already fallen.

There had been no studies of harm from the presumed weapon, Japan’s Kyodo news agency reported, citing a Chinese state cause.

North&nbsp, Korea past fired a missile on Jul 1, &nbsp, when it claimed to have successfully&nbsp, tested&nbsp, a fresh military ballistic missile capable of carrying a 4.5-ton super-large weapon.

The isolated region has also&nbsp, been sending&nbsp, balloons&nbsp, carrying debris across the borders into the south over the last few weeks, a&nbsp, plan kicked off in May in retaliation for anti-Pyongyang leaflets flown into the land using tents by South Korean protesters.
