Election agency asked to investigate Thaksin’s ‘control’ of Pheu Thai

The ruling party is facing a new danger of breakdown.

The decision Pheu Thai party is facing a second breakdown threat, with Thai Pakdee Party chair Warong Dechgitvigrom asking the Election Commission to look into whether former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra is operating the party in an illegal manner.

On Wednesday, the opposition lawmaker filed a complaint with the EC’s business.

Dr. Warong claimed that he had accused Thaksin of influencing both the opposition and the opposition of bowing to his control.

Any social gathering is prohibited from allowing a non-member to control it by the Organic Act on Political Parties. Violation can lead to the party ‘s&nbsp, breakdown.

Dr Warong said that on Aug 14 Thaksin invited key images of the partnership events, including Pheu Thai, to discuss the new government’s development at his home, in the midst of the&nbsp, treatment of prime minister Srettha Thavisin from business.

No significant party official, according to Dr. Warong, had refuted this.

Thaksin told reporters on August 20 that Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra may never hold the position of defense because Dr. Warong said the additional responsibility would be too much.

He even said Thaksin had remarked that he did not dominate Ms Paetongtarn, but owned her as she is his child. Dr. Warong remarked that Thaksin does not make such remarks in public in front of reporters, but that he could give his daughter guidance in their own home.

Dr. Warong also made reference to Thaksin’s comments regarding the possibility of the Democratic Party joining the state. According to Thaksin, the state needed additional vote to pass legislation in parliament, he quoted him. &nbsp,

Pheu Thai just after invited the Democrat Party to&nbsp, visit the coalition government, Dr Warong said.

His problem comes in response to several others that also targeted Pheu Thai and Thaksin.

The Thai Rak Thai Party was founded and led by former prime minister Thaksin in 1998. The group was dissolved in 2007 according to an electoral law infraction. People moved to the Person’s Power Party led by his brother-in-law and former prime minister Somchai Wongsawat.

People’s Strength was dissolved in 2008, even for political rules violation, and members moved to Pheu Thai, founded in 2007 and then led by Thaksin’s child Paetongtarn.
