Frequent rain has caused streams to flow, flooding and landslides in the middle North, with four individuals confirmed killed, four wounded and five also missing.
Disaster mitigation officials reported big flood in the northern county of Chiang Rai, including Mae Sai, Wiang Pang Kham, and Koh Chang, respectively, in the Mae Sai district. The floodwaters were powerful and a metre deeply.
People in Mae Sai district’s flood-affected regions near the overflowing Sai River were advised to get ready for a possible removal.  ,
In Tham Luang-Khun Nam Nang Nong National Park, even in Mae Sai area, rainwater was on Wednesday pouring out of Tham Luang Cave,  , commonly known from the flooded cave save goal in 2018.
In Mae Fah Luang area, a residence was hit by a disaster. One resident , was killed, two seriously injured and another was also missing.
In Muang city, the Kok River overflowed into adjacent areas.
Local water authorities reported that the circulation of the Kok River was swollen by Myanmar runoff and was thoroughly high at 1, 000 cubic meters per second.
In Mae Chan city, the Chan and Kham Uen streams overflowed.
Firefighters were assisting stranded residents of Chiang Rai in their homes. Some residents posted demands on social media for aid, along with , pictures of the flood at their houses.
Recovery attempts were challenging due to the strong current. Prior to being evacuated, evacuated people were advised to proceed to higher ground, but they were not advised to attempt to wade through the quickly moving water.
Two floods struck tambon Doi Laem on Tuesday in the Mae Ai city of Chiang Mai, killing three people and injuring another. Four persons were still , missing on Wednesday.
Individuals in nearby towns have been warned about potential display storms and drainage.
