Saphan Sung area district, where the Bangkok Food Bank will open its intended 50th center on Monday, has already distributed more than two million meals to those in need.
The 50th food banks center’s opening ceremony took place at the Saphan Sung city office, fulfilling the project’s goal of having a center in each Bangkok district.
The Bangkok Food Bank website states that it collects income food and distributes it to underprivileged people for free in a minimalistic structure where consumers can choose the items they want.
The task has now provided over two million foods, or about 500, 000 kg of meal, to vulnerable groups of people registered in each region, Mr Chadchart said.  ,
Since the project’s inception in October 2022, there has n’t been as much wasted food as it has.
” To keep the site’s sustainability, we must have the trust of the people who donate to the lender, that their contribution will reach the hands of people who need it”, the government said.  ,
” We also allow people to investigate the process …. , This project is not just about Chadchart, but is about cooperation by all sectors”, he said.  ,
He claimed that half of all food produced in Bangkok was regarded as deficit, despite the fact that many people still had no access to appropriate food. This job wanted to serve as a hub for distributing this foods and other goods to those in need.  ,
