North Korea’s Kim Jong Un says country to increase number of nuclear weapons: Report

Son of North Korea: State media outlet KCNA reported on Tuesday ( Sep. 10 ) that the nation is now “implementing a nuclear force construction policy” to “exponentially” increase the number of nuclear weapons.

Kim stated in a speech on North Korea’s anniversary on Monday that the nation must “more adequately prepare its nuclear capability and its readiness to use it correctly at any given time to ensure the security rights of the state.”

A strong military presence is required to face” the different challenges posed by the United States and its followers,” he continued.

Kim even said North Korea is facing a “grave risk” from what it said was a US-led nuclear-based military alliance in the region.
