Five other members of his class have left as celebration executives as their separation from the gathering deepens, and Thamanat Prompow, who is the party’s secretary-general, has resigned as party secretary-general.

Thamanat announced his intention to start on Thursday, telling the audience. The Election Commission has received the directors ‘ defections.

The action was made ahead of Friday’s group board meeting, which will be presided over by leader Gen Prawit Wongsuwon.

To prevent losing their MP tickets, Thamanat and his colleagues have never given up their PPRP members.

Thamanat acknowledges that he is looking into constitutional options so that he and his supporters may keep Palang Pracharath with their MP reputation intact. The practice has always been for a party to remove an MP so they can keep their chair as long as they can find a replacement party to join.

All told, the important political plumber from Phayao is said to have 20 of the group’s 40 MPs on his part. The other group maintains close relations to Gen. Prawit.

Thamanat tried again before to stir up Palang Pracharath, again in 2021, by targeting Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha but he lost that large, along with his government chair. He left the party but afterwards returned, swearing fidelity to Gen Prawit. &nbsp,

Thamanat claimed on Thursday that he had lost trust in the organization. He claimed that the Pheu Thai Party’s new ministerial nominations were compiled and sent to the ruling party without his knowledge.

Three people from the Thamanat party, including his nephew, are in the new government of Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra. The criticism includes the remaining Palang Pracharath MPs.

During this year’s discussion on the 2025 budget act, the Thamanat party was spotted seated in the Pheu Thai seats area in the House of Representatives. The Prawit party continued to sit in the PPRP seating arrangement.

Next month, the Pheu Thai Party made a statement about the PPRP’s withdrawal from the partnership. More precisely, it was looking to clean all those dedicated to Gen Prawit, who has been suspected of manoeuvring against Pheu Thai.

Some in Pheu Thai suspect that the 78-year-old former army captain was behind the morality complaint, filed by 40 past legislators, that ended the perfect ministership of Srettha Thavisin. &nbsp, Apart from Thamanat, the five people who exited the PPRP executive board are Narathiwat MP Sampan Mayusoh, Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn ( Chachoengsao ), Boonying Nitikanchana ( Ratchaburi), Phai Lik ( Kamphaeng Phet ), and Boonsing Warinrak.

Palang Pracharath’s committee, which has been reduced from 19 to 13, is scheduled to meet on Friday night to appoint its new chair. Assistant chief Paiboon Nititawan is expected to remove Thamanat as secretary-general.
