Believe confesses business stress and alcohol resulted in violence at Sukhumvit condo
Police arrested a Chinese-Australian businessman for the fatal shooting of their mother in a Sukhumvit condominium on Friday night, after preventing him from furthermore killing his spouse and children and himself.
Officers on Sunday took the 41-year-old suspect to the Bangkok South Criminal Court to seek approval for the first round associated with detention. Investigators opposed bail. He has already been charged with murder and illegal possession of a gun and ammunition.
Kelvin Shuo Gao, who holds Aussie nationality, is offender of fatally capturing his mother Xing Liu, 61, within the family unit to the ninth floor of the Supalai Place condo on Sukhumvit Soi 39, said law enforcement who were called to the scene at close to 7. 30pm on Friday.
The suspect made no attempt to flee but when police appeared, he was intimidating to kill their wife and their children — a child aged 7 and a daughter aged two — as well as themselves before officers intervened, said Pol Col Duangchot Suwancharas, main of Thong Lor police.
