Singapore para-shooter Daniel Chan to make Paralympics debut in Paris

He placed fifth at the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Changwon, South Korea, narrowly edging out a prize in 2022.

He placed second in the Asian Para Games last year with a personal best score and was awarded a solution to Paris, which was a pleasant surprise given that Chan did not anticipate qualifying. &nbsp,

” It was my very first big Games. ( My coach and I ) were just there for the experience”, he said.

” There was a quota placing ( for Paris ) but it was n’t part of our plan, because we knew how strong the Asian team was. But, when we knew we had a limit setting, we were actually surprised, or instead, stunned”.

He is aiming for a top-eight end in Paris, adding that “anything more will be a great bonus”.
