Another man has passed away in Bangkok over the weekend after consuming dangerous whiskey alcohol, bringing the death burden to four.

Thirty-three people received hospital care after drinking the prohibited rotgut, which they purchased from Bangkok city liquor stores. &nbsp,

Three died before from the effects of alcohol drunkenness, and a fifth died on Tuesday, Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsutin said.

Fifteen of the people were put on ventilators, 22 circumstances required liver treatment, 21 had blurred perception, he said. Thankfully, there were no reports of continuous blindness.

According to Dr. Somsak, one person had a serious problem and the situation was worrying. Eight had received medical attention and were discharged from the hospital.

The youngest individual was aged 22 years and the oldest &nbsp, 69, according to the Department of Health Services.

The Department of Medical Services advised people who drank whiskey alcohol who they believe may have been methanol-contaminated or who purchased it from stores that sold whiskey acetone to immediately visit a hospital.

On Tuesday night, two patients were admitted to Nopparat Hospital with respiratory issues, the department said.

Both people acknowledged having consumed the unlawful beer for three weeks. They began panting, suffering from a shortness of breath, about 6am on Tuesday.

They had been afraid to go to a doctor earlier, worried they may be&nbsp, arrested, the department said.
