Full Moon Party beach vendor arrested for selling laughing gas

Sola THANI- A store owner on Koh Phangan, where the Full Moon Party is held, was arrested for selling bubbles filled with nitric oxide, or laughing gas, without a force.

Rangsiman Jaisamer, 29, was detained early on Thursday night by police at his factory in tambon Ban Tai for selling amusing gas-filled balloons to vacationers. &nbsp,

In his store, officers discovered two cylinder of laughing gas and some balloons thought to be used for retail sales.

As authorities stepped up assault on the purchase of nitric oxide, Mr. Rangsiman claimed to have profited from the rising gas price.

Nitric oxide is a colourless, non-flammable oil used in surgery and dental for its morphine results. The oil has long been used by beachgoers and is better known as laughing gas because of the pleasant effects it causes after ingestion.
