Philippines agrees to host a US visa processing centre for Afghans resettling in America

President Joe Biden discussed the demand with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken when Marcos traveled to the United States last year, according to Philippine officials, and the request was first relayed to his Spanish counterpart in 2022.
