Chinese port rocked by huge container ship blast

One of China’s busiest ships was rocked by a massive explosion on a goods ship, according to surveillance footage.

Up to a kilometer from Shanghai’s Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, according to Chinese state advertising, ripples were felt.

No injuries were reported aboard the ship, which rescuers claimed was operated by Yang Ming Marine Transport, a vessel delivery company from Taiwan.

The ship’s emergency management officer, who did not specify what they were, claimed to be carrying toxic substances.
