CHON BURI: This is the fifth incident to occur in Chon Buri territory since June 1 when an 88-year-old Norway man fell to his death from a condo on the 16th floor.

Officers at the Pattaya City police station’s assistant research chief, Pol Capt Sanan Kotanon, said officers received a report about the incident in the Jomtien neighborhood in the Bang Lamung district on Thursday evening.

He claimed that an old man’s body was discovered on the third-floor roof of a hairdresser that was a part of the building by police officers and rescue workers. No real assault or struggle was discovered.

The boy’s Thai woman said she had noticed that her father, who had kidney disease, had been very polite on Thursday night. She was greatly shocked after the incident, said officers.

To determine the cause of death, the deceased’s body was taken to the Bangkok Institute of Forensic Medicine for an examination.

The Norwegian’s death marked Chon Buri’s fifth fatality since June 1 when people have jumped or fallen from tall buildings.
