Dissolved Move Forward MPs move to new party

All 143 members of parliament from the court-dissolved Move Forward Party ( MFP ) joined their new political home on Friday, with the main opposition’s Facebook page renamed to the People’s Party.

Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, the newly appointed group head, arrived at Thai Summit Tower&nbsp, on New Phetchaburi Road in Bangkok alongside other Members and users from the dismantled group. Eventually, a formal announcement will be made about the new group and its leaders.

The people, who have the upper hand in governing the nation, are the party’s most sacred and persistent establishment, according to a post on Facebook with the name and new brand. &nbsp,

On Thursday evening, past key people and Members of Move Forward selected Mr Natthapong, a record MP and former assistant secretary-general, as the new president.

The 37-year-old Chulalongkorn University student is a senior executive at Absolute Management Solutions Co., a company of sky services. Before the Constitutional Court’s dissolution in 2020, he allegedly resigned from his position with the Future Forward Party on suspicion of breaking election law when he made political party gifts in 2019.

Mr. Natthaphong expressed his confidence on Friday, claiming that the meeting of all Members at the new office strengthened his resolve to carry out the Move Forward initiative’s goals. Additional information may be shared at an established hit event, he added.

Before, Move Forward deputy president Sirikanya Tansakun, who&nbsp, is not among the 11 banned group directors, was tipped to guide the Women’s Party.
