Woman charged with using forged death certificate to get compassionate leave

A woman was charged in Singapore on Thursday ( 8 August ) with obtaining compassionate leave by using a fictitious death certificate.

Su Qin, a 37-year-old Chinese national and Singapore permanent resident, was also charged with forging medical certificates (MCs ) to get medical leave.

Su, according to the command sheets, submitted a false electronic medical record (MC) to her business ETC Singapore SEC Limited on April 1 with the title” St Luke Hospital.”

The report, dated Mar 31, was reportedly forged at a level in Bukit Batok Street 11.

She reportedly told her employer on April 8 that she had received another made electric medical certificate from the same medical dated April 5.

She is accused of conspiring to mislead the member of her company both times to obtain medical leave.

Su reportedly gave a fake death document from April 8 to a fictitious Zhang Weiqin at a different gaming company called Century Games.

This was so she could be granted sympathetic left by fraud, the command sheet stated.

Under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, using a forged dying certificate without permission is illegal.

Su was given a September meeting to enter a guilty plea and offered a$ 3,500 personal relationship.

At this first phase of the investigation, it is not clear how she came to be.

For fraud, she may be jailed for up to four years, fined, or both.

For knowingly using a forged suicide document, she could be jailed for up to 10 times, fined up to S$ 10, 000, or both.
