SINGAPORE: After suffering a pregnancy, a woman visited a fertility doctor for assessments, and after properly conceived and gave birth to a good baby son.

Despite hiring a incarceration nanny and a private helper, she still felt overwhelmed and concerned about being unable to care for her newborn son.

She was concerned about his frequent hepatitis and her own difficulties with breast milk pumping much.

The 33-year-old Malaysian woman stated in a statement that she loved her son and that he was not a mistake.

The woman was found dead at the foot of a Housing Board ( HDB) block in December last year, about a metre away from her three-week-old son.

The investigating officer described how those around the woman suspected she had postpartum depression as the opening of a coroner’s investigation into the twin deaths on Tuesday ( August 6 ).

The authorities believe the case to be one of” suicide-cum-infanticide”, and do not suspect any foul play.

State Coroner Adam Nakhoda placed a joke get on the situation, preventing the release of any information that might reveal the dying or the testimony.

Assistant Superintendent of Police ( ASP) Ang Yu Shen said the mother shared her husband’s and son’s birth with the court and that they shared their findings.

The boy’s parents had only one child, so they hired a girl and a captivity nanny to take care of him.

The captivity maid showed the family how to change her brother’s diaper on the morning of December 3rd, 2013.

The parents had returned home late from watching football&nbsp, the evening before&nbsp, with his companions and was still asleep in the master bedroom, said ASP Ang.

The mother received one of her scheduled regular postpartum massages as a masseuse arrived afterwards.

The mommy was then taught how to swim the girl by the nanny. &nbsp,

The family then instructed the maid to purchase milk and milk at a local supermarket.

The girl wanted more milk powder because she could n’t make sufficient breast milk for the child, according to the maid, who pointed out that there was still milk powder at home.

Around 11.15 a.m., the maid left the apartment and drove home from duties. She afterwards had little thought of it when she first saw policemen standing at the hole deck. However, when she arrived at the apartment, she noticed a lock on the material gate.

Before the parents woke up, she rang the doorbell. His wife had purchased the lock decades earlier but had never used, so he was extremely surprised to see it.

The parents then noticed a card with a six-digit variety and a padlock-like image printed on it. After using the numbers, he was able to access the lock.

The woman went downstairs to check because neither the police could locate the family or baby because she had seen so many police cars.

The man’s wife and son were both killed, the police officials afterwards learned.

The maid went to the kitchen and discovered the window to be as it was normally opened, but she also noticed that a typically stowed acrylic chair was in front of the window and that the laundry had been shifted to create a clear path.

No disputes were observed by neighbors who spoke with the authorities.

SUSPECTED POSTPARTUM Sadness

Before her dying, the mother’s family and witnesses claimed she was concerned about losing her young child and that she had been diagnosed with postpartum depression.

The family told her husband that she felt overwhelmed and stressed out taking care of the baby two weeks after the birth, according to ASP Ang.

In specific, she was worried about the boy’s hepatitis and the pumping of breast milk.

The woman claimed that she was “going back and forth” between having a clear head and having a hazy head, and that she was not herself when her mind was foggy.

She once confided to her father that she was having “dark ideas” and wanted to throw herself aside, which her father thought was a death.

But, as the gentleman thought his wife was displaying some degree of self-awareness, he thought the situation was not severe enough to warrant seeking support, ASP Ang said.

The mother told the physiotherapist that she had a pregnancy five years ago and had been trying very hard to fathom since then and became emotional and crying during her first treatment program.

After this, the massage was careful not to cause the mother’s feelings and felt she was depressed.

The family was overburdened and repeatedly crying, according to the confinement maid.

The woman responded by explaining her fear of failing to take care of her brother well when she asked the family why she was crying.

The incarceration nanny recognized that the family may have had postpartum depression in some way.

The family even mentioned how stressed out she was with her younger sister.

She told her sister that there was no problem with this, and that she wanted to start giving him formula milk because she did n’t want to go through the trouble of pumping breast milk.

However, the family expressed sadness and felt that she was a stupid family.

If she decided against caring for her child, she even questioned her mother and sister.

Instead of apologizing to the late mom, both ladies assured her that everything would turn out fine.

The family’s younger sister overheard the person talking to her son while feeding him when she came back from a second visit.

She said her brother’s title, adding:” You are not a mistake”.

The woman also informed her mother that she could n’t keep her son alive. She said it was “difficult for her” and that she needed prayer. The girl repeatedly told her the same thing to her once more while her family consoled her.

She informed her mother about her son’s death about a year before her passing. &nbsp,

The apartment contained written notes from the late family. In one of the papers, dated Dec 1, 2023, she addressed her brother, and said she loved him and that he was not a blunder.

She stated in an unsigned note to her father that she and her brother had be” with the Lord” and that she loved him.
