The Pheu Thai Party has no case to establish a method to remove party stalwart and list-MP Pol Capt Chalerm Ubumrung, according to group secretary-general Sorawong Thienthong.

Mr. Sorawong was responding to Pol Capt Chalerm’s claim that he wished to leave the party so that he could join the Palang Prarachrath Party ( PPRP ) like his son Wan, who left Pheu Thai early last week. Mr. Wan resigned after causing a stir among the party’s leadership by allegedly arguing with a group competitor in a new Pathum Thani election.

According to Mr. Sorawrong, the party never remove a member until an ethics committee finds that the individual has broken the party’s rules. ” In Pol Capt Chalerm’s event, there is nothing violation. He is a valuable individual, and the party does n’t want to lose him, he said.

As an MP, if Pol Capt Chalerm retires from the group, he may lose his political position. He can keep the position if he is expelled by finding a new group within the permitted time frame.

Mr. Sorawong stated that the party honors Mr. Wan’s decision to leave, wishes him also, and that Archawin, another Ubamrung family member, is still with Pheu Thai.

On Facebook Live, Mr Wan denied studies that his brother, Mr Archawin, would meet him and Pol Capt Chalerm in moving to the PPRP.

He claimed that Prasert Jantararuangtong’s modern economy and society secretary, Mr. Archawin, is still a Pheu Thai member and is an advisor. While his parents is awaiting a gathering process to “impeach” him, Mr. Wan said he will use for participation with the PPRP tomorrow.

” My son is 27]years old ]. Let him choose what kind of job. Issues about a parents, uncle and brother should be taken separately”, he said.
